Just pressed wood and printer's ink.
"There's not much to it," many think.
They only see the pretty cover.
Looking inside, they would discover
Worlds aplenty, and journeys deep.
Tales to make you laugh or weep.
These typeset words, though common things,
Are to me more precious than the treasures of kings.
