Other Role-Playing Links

  • RPGnet: A great source for games of all types loaded with news, reviews, and other game related stuff.
  • The Escapist: The Escapist houses information on the Committee for the Advancement of Role-Playing Games (CARPGa). This site is a great place to begin your foray into RPG advocacy. They have tons of links to articles on role-playing games, both pro and con.
  • Uncle Figgy's Realm: This site has four excellent role-playing game net-books, one for players, one for game masters, one for non-gamers, and one about the fantasy genre. Definately worth a look.
  • Stiggybaby's: This online discount gaming store specializes in role-playing games.
  • Atlas Games: Publishers of the excellent games Ars Magica and Unknown Armies. In my opinion, one of the coolest game companies out there.
  • White Wolf: Publishers of the World of Darkness, Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, and Mage: The Awakening, as well as the fantasy game Exalted.
  • Dungeons & Dragons Homepage: This page on the Wizards of the Coast website is the place to get official D&D news and information.
  • ZAON Role-Playing Game: A science-fiction RPG I did some consulting work on in the early days of my career.
  • Page XX: A Column by RPG pro Robin Laws. Great advice from a legend.
  • Black Hat Matt's Guide to Better Roleplaying: A great collection of articles on role-playing. Mostly directly related to the World of Darkness, but more generally useful as well.
